WHAT IS THE ICON PROGRAM?
Our new ICON program was designed to help dancers build relationships with other dancers as well as choreographers and other industry professionals. ICONs are Ultimate Dance Tour’s highest level Title Winners and are chosen through class auditions and solo performances.

WHAT TO EXPECT?
Dancers will learn choreography in all styles of dance to be assist Convention Faculty throughout the season. Each ICON will be assigned an Ultimate Faculty member as their personal mentor.  Their mentor, as well as our program director, will work with them via Zoom and in person to discuss progress and opportunities.  Ultimate Icons will be overseen by Faculty and the Ultimate Team.

HOW TO AUDITION FOR ULTIMATE ICON?
Round 1 of auditions will take place at our regional conventions this season!
Registered convention dancers will need to fill out the application and pay the audition fee prior to the ICON audition class. After advancing through regional auditions, finalists will complete their last audition during National Finals in Myrtle Beach, June 13-17, 2027. Throughout the week, dancers will compete a solo, learn their final audition combos during convention classes, and perform in the opening and closing numbers of the Ultimate Championship Showcase. This immersive experience allows dancers to showcase their artistry, versatility, and passion as they audition to earn the title of ULTIMATE ICON.
