

GEENA NGAAJE
Originally from Cameroon, West Africa, Geena Njaaje, also know as Geena Driven, has become a household name in the Dallas dance community. She is an accomplished choreographer, performer, and creative director. Over the last 20 years, she has devoted much of her career to creating opportunities for dancers to discover, develop, and deploy their passion for dance.
A visionary dance leader, she pioneered the Dallas Hip-Hop Dance Festival in 2012, Legacy Hip-Hop Dance Convention, and HYPE Choreographers Showcase. She is the owner and master choreographer of Hip Hop Heels, and has also served as President of the Dance Council of North Texas.
Geena and her endeavors have been featured on Fit Trip with Kimberly Westphall, Good Morning Texas, Fox 4 Good Day, The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Examiner, WFAA Daybreak, and Al Extremo. Some of her dance and choreography credits include Black Eyed Peas/Super Bowl XLV, Alter’d Ego, CNN Fit Nation, Miss Africa USA, Texas Legends Dancers, The Sideline Group, Chinatown Band, recording artist Torsha Lynn, Cowboys Club, and Christmas at the Cathedral.
She previously served as Production Director at Elevate Life Church through 2021, before stepping into the role of Studio Manager at Centre for Dance, one of Dallas’ largest dance studios. Today, she is the Spirit Director and Head Dance Coach at Trinity Christian Academy, where she leads the school’s dance and pom programs with purpose, passion, and excellence.
Geena is also the host of Beyond The Dance Floor with Geena Driven, a lifestyle podcast created to help dancers elevate their thinking and create a life worth dancing for. Whether she’s in front of the camera or behind the scenes, Geena finds the greatest fulfillment in helping others move with intention, lead with heart, and create with purpose.
