Meet Ultimate Dance Tour's Judges
MADELINE UNDERWOOD is from Jamestown, NC where she grew up training and competing. She won numerous first overall and title awards at both the Regional and National levels during her competition career. She was featured on Season 7 of Dance Moms as a member of the Candy Apple Team. She was also featured in Bloch’s “Dance with Confidence” campaign shot by Jordan Matter. She is sponsored by both Bloch and Jo and Jax and loves to represent both of these companies. She currently trains at The Brea Space in their Launch program under the direction of Krista Miller. While at The Space, she has appeared in music videos and also assisted many online dance classes. She has already begun her professional career, appearing on “This is Us” last season. She just finished filming a short film titled “Saturday night” where she played the lead role.
Carisa McMillian Wilson
CARISA MCMILLIAN WILSON has studied and performed various dance techniques across the United States since the age of three. She attended Appalachian State University, where she received her BFA in Dance, and was the captain and choreographer for the dance team. Following graduation, Carisa relocated to Dallas, Texas where she became a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader. She appeared on CMT’s hit show, “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Carisa was selected for her dance ability to be a part of the DCC Show Group, which travels to perform in various countries. During her time as a cheerleader, she performed with Selena Gomez, Kenny Chesney, and One Republic. Additionally, she received an award for the choreography and performance for her solo at auditions. Carisa now resides in Raleigh, teaching and choreographing for studios in the surrounding area. She joined the convention and adjudication faculty of Epic Dance Showcase in 2015, as well as the faculty of the Commercial Dance Intensive in 2017.
CHERYL CUTLIP, a native of North Carolina, began her dance career in Nashville, TN at OPRYLAND USA. After working on a cruise ship, living in Japan while dancing at Tokyo's Disneyland, and performing in the European tour of 42nd Street, Cheryl moved to New York where she became a Radio City Rockette. Cheryl enjoyed performing with the Rockettes for 15 years where her duties included dance captain; assistant choreographer and spokesperson for nationally televised programs like The Today Show and Good Morning America. She was the co-choreographer for Kick Into Fitness; and choreographer for Christmas Across America promotional tours, The Yankee Penant Parade and NBC’s Rockefeller Christmas Tree Lighting special. Other career credits include the Broadway National Tour of Crazy For You and the Broadway benefit to the stars version of Mack and Mable starring Jerry Herman and Donna McKechnie. Cheryl also danced in the jazz company, Walkerdance under the direction of Chet Walker where she performed in a benefit concert for lyricist and composer, Stephen Schwartz. Cheryl currently directs a precision dance company called The Carolina Snowbelles (www.thecarolinasnowbelles.com) and operates The Space @ Project Dance in Boone, NC where dancers train in classical ballet, tap and jazz.
CORREY WEST is a native of Dallas Texas and attended Northwestern State University. He is currently on Broadway in Ain't Too Proud: The Life and Times of the Temptations at the Imperial Theatre in New York City. Other Broadway credits include: Nice Work If You Can Get It (Imperial Theatre), South Pacific (Lincoln Center). National Tours: Love Never Dies (1st National-US Premiere), Anything Goes (1st National), 42nd Street, The Radio City Christmas Spectacular (Chicago/Toronto); NY Theatre- Showboat (NY Philharmonic/Live from Lincoln Center), Lunch (NYMF), An Evening With Jason Robert Brown (The Cooper Union). BEKAH DOWNING is originally from Charlotte NC where she began training at North Carolina Dance Theatre under the direction of Patricia McBride. She studied ballet at UNCSA from 2005-2009. Following graduation, Bekah switched to the contemporary program. In 2011 she relocated to Rotterdam, Netherlands to complete her dance education at Codarts School of the Arts. Upon receiving her BFA she remained in Europe where she worked as a freelance performer and choreographer, dancing for Lonneke Van Leth Productions and Guilia Mureddu Dance. Upon returning to the USA, Bekah has continued to freelance and perform with Mari Meade Dance Company, Helen Simoneau Danse, Stewart Owen Dance, and SF Symphony Opera. She has been teaching various dance forms since 2014 and enjoys sharing her passion of movement to the next generation of dancers. Recently she presented her solo work 'Trace the Loop' at LadyFest Dance Festival in Charlotte, NC. Bekah is also on faculty at UNCSA and Wake Forest Community Ballet.
SALLY BURR is a professional dancer, singer, and actor. She received her Bachelors in Performing Arts degree from Oklahoma City University and is currently working on her Masters in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida while residing in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sally's performance career expands in many areas. She had the opportunity to perform in the Broadway workshop, Stilyagi, written by Lisa Kron, directed by Michael Mayer (Ensemble, New York Stage and Film), toured Nationally with Dirty Dancing (Understudy Penny & Vivian/Ensemble), and also performed in numerous regional productions. Many of those include: Paint Your Wagon (Emily/Mary/Ensemble, The Muny), Oklahoma (Aggie, The Muny), Monty Python's Spamalot (Ensemble/Minstrel, The Muny), An American in Paris (Featured Ensemble, Ogunquit Playhouse), Will Rogers Follies (Ensemble/Zulecki, Pioneer Theatre), Will Rogers Follies (Ensemble, Maltz Jupiter Theatre), Singin in the Rain (Understudy Cyd Charisse & Zelda/Ensemble, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina). Aside from live theatre, Sally had the opportunity to be seen in the TV series, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (Oklahoma maid, Amazon Prime), and Vinyl (Concert Goer, HBO). Sally was also previously a Barre Fitness Trainer when living in NYC. She is currently on faculty at Showstopper National Dance Conventions and has judged for several dance competitions across the US. She is also a Choreographer and Teacher across the East Coast, and is a Certified Plant-Based Health Coach with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.
Natalia Lepore Hagan
NATALIA LEPORE HAGAN is a dancer, singer and actress living in New York City. She was trained classically in Ballet, as well as Tap, Jazz, Theatre, Afro-Cuban, and Modern dance. Natalia has performed in two Broadway National Tours including “42nd St” as Anytime Annie, and the First National Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Love Never Dies” in the dancing ensemble. She has worked on numerous Theatrical productions across the country as well as on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire.
DANA BETT is a former Carolina TopCat for the NFL Carolina Panthers team as well as a former Honeybee for the NBA Charlotte Hornets. She has served as choreographer for the WNBA Charlotte Stingers dance team in Charlotte NC and the professional arena football team The Greensboro Prowlers. Dana has also enjoyed performing and entertaining crowds as on-field/on-court announcer for several professional sports teams including most recently the NBA G league Greensboro Swarm. She also toured the east coast as a performer and lead singer of a highly sought after 12 piece show band. Dana also enjoys performing in pageants and won Mrs. North Carolina in 2000.
BALIEE EUREY is a Carolina native and currently resides outside of the Charlotte, NC area. She is a graduate of Appalachian State University where she was a member of the Appalachian State Dance Team for 4 years and an active sister of Alpha Delta Pi. During her time at Appalachian State she was featured on College Football News as a dance team member. With over 20 years of experience, Bailee currently assists others with dance choreography and acrobatics training. She is trained in tap, jazz, musical theatre, hip-hop, contemporary, lyrical, and ballet. She has been an instructor and choreographer for 7 years and has won several national and regional choreography awards. Bailee is a judge for national dance companies and has been a master class instructor for multiple organizations. Baliee owns her own pageantry and photography business, enjoys being heavily present in both the fashion and film industries, and loves to travel when she is able.
